Help Our Environment By Planting A Tree

As a result of tree felling, we lose up to six billion trees yearly. This has to do with the demand for items that are produced from trees. Writing paper and household toilet papers are an example of this, as well as the lumber used to construct houses. Alas, we need the goods that the trees produce but we can do something about the depletion of our forests.

Despite the fact that we have Arbor Day, and all of us must plant a tree every Arbor Day, that is merely taking care of a small part of the problem. Planting trees is not an activity that a lot of people give any thought to. If everyone could do this, it would make a huge impact.

Would you believe that there are roughly 7 billion people right now? Of course, you can never be certain of the precise figures for this. However, we could replace the trees that are lost annually if each one of those folks did actually plant a tree on Arbor day. The probability of this taking place is remote.

Hence, the answer is for those of you who care about the environment and want oxygen so you can live, plant a tree. And I don’t mean to simply go out once a year and plant a tree. Every month is a good objective or why not each week? We must try to compensate for those who refuse to plant trees even though they continue to use the earth’s valuable resources.

Numbers show that approximately 15 million trees are planted on Arbor Day. Hence every year, we have a deficit approximately 5 billion trees. This situation continues to get worse.

I actually have a solution to the problem entirely even though people should nevertheless go on planting trees whenever they can. If a law could be enacted that whenever a tree is cut down by lumber companies, they then had to plant two new ones, this could really make a huge difference.

But until somebody has the presence of mind to make this a reality, we are left to take care of planting the trees ourselves. And it will not take that much for us to increase the tree population annually. If each month, around 10% of people worldwide could plant a tree, that would make up for the numbers being felled per year. Roughly 7 billion new trees would be achieved by doing this. In essence, this gives us an extra one billion trees and will go a long way to restoring the levels that are truly required.

Planting a tree is a way people can save the planet. Things will change if 10% of people worldwide decide to help out and plant trees. And you could be one of those people helping out.
